Winner of the Ideal Home Show Wallpaper of the Year 2014 is Hackney & Co

This was the third year ideal home show and Wallpapered.com have run the competition and the prize includes free tickets for friends and family, courtesy of Ideal Home Show. The award and title of 'Design Of The Year', five free rolls of your own design from Wallpapered.com

20% of net sales and you get to meet Laurence Llewelyn Bowen who hosts the award show.

I met the other talented ladies who were all finalists Martha & Hepsie, Ameo Designs,

Jen Moules and Natalie Owen.

I was very nervous but excited. We were called up to the stage one by one by Laurence Llewelyn Bowen who asked us a few questions e.g where did our design inspiration and themes come from?, why we had picked certain colours for our designs and also where each of us visualised our wallpapers? This is an important thing to incorporate when creating any designs... always think to yourself what is the end product and where will your pattern end up?

This is the proud moment I got the trophy. Thank you to the lovely Becky Maitland from Wallpapered.com for being very supportive on the day and to Laurence for choosing my design as one of the five finalists.
